Service and assembly instructions

Tips & tricks

We have put together a few tips and tricks to help you assemble our products.

All of our products need handling differently during planning and assembly. In this section, we provide information on first steps. Please see our assembly instructions for further important details.
Our products are made of aluminium and have lower specific weights, meaning you need to take special care when handling them. Please note that the coating of powder-coated aluminium elements and posts scratches easily.

Assembling motorised pergolas with electric blind screens
Before assembling motorised pergolas and electric blind screens, please consider and plan for the electrical supply. Prior to assembly, please also make sure that you have considered where to lay the electric cables within the pergola. If in doubt, we always recommend consulting an expert.

Transporting, storing and assembling
the garden shed

To make sure your garden shed looks its very best once it has been put up, before assembly please make sure that you store all WPC elements in a dry place that is protected from sunlight and has the same temperature as the place of assembly. This helps the WPC elements become acclimated and prevents unwanted tension.

WPC
Our garden shed and carport privacy screens Premium L and XL are made out of WPC, a durable and weather-resistant material; WPC stands for Wood Plastic Composite. As a rule, our WPC is made of approx. 60% wood, which is combined with approx. 40% plastic to create a durable and stable material. WPC is perfect for outdoor products, such as fences and sheds.

A job shared is a job halved
Assembling our products is at least a two-person job; this makes handling and assembly easier, more enjoyable and has the advantage of the four-eyes principle.

The right foundation
Our products need to stand firmly and securely, which is why we recommend mounting our sheds, pergolas and carports on a foundation. Especially when it comes to our pergola and the fitting blind screens, a level, horizontal and load-bearing foundation is key for a stable pergola.

Legal Matters
Please make sure that you comply with local laws and relevant regulations when putting our products up.
